I did a few off-Broadway plays, working next to actors like James Gandolfini, it was hard work. I learned a lot and ultimately it made me a better actor.
— Charles Solomon Jr.

With a love for Theater blossoming at a young age, Charles was clear on his future.

As a young boy, Charles would write and perform short plays for his family and neighbors, so it was no surprise when Charles joined the Dallas Theatre Center and enrolled in his first official theater program.

After high school, Charles attended Syracuse University's well-known theater program in upstate New York, alongside classmates Vanessa Williams and Aaron Sorkin under the guidance of Broadway actor Arthur Storch. He then graduated from SMU with a bachelor’s in English Literature, and moved to Los Angeles to learn from acting teacher Vincent Chase, after whom the lead character in Entourage is named. He then moved to NYC and studied under the guidance of Herbert Berghof, Uta Hagen, and Sanford Meisner.

Charles then added more behind-the-scenes work to his skill set, producing and directing several music videos, short films and two features and then began producing indie movies such as such as Who Shot Mamba? (2009), Killer View (2009) and Face of Love (2013) starring Robin Williams, Annette Bening and Ed Harris.

Currently, Charles is acting and producing while working on getting the family feature ‘Get Gomez!’ to the big screen. ‘Get Gomez!’ is a live-action feature movie created by Charles and his wife based on their beloved pet chihuahua.
